Femke Pietersma

Femke has achieved a lot, she has been with the Dutch national teams (KNVB) since she 11 years old and has gone through the entire youth plan till the present. She has participated in big international tournaments with the Dutch national youth teams playing against Belgium, Germany, and the United States twice. At the age of 14, she was recruited for professional side SC Heerenveen and became champions during the 19/20 season. Before Heerenveen, she played at Be Quick at the 2nd national level with the boys team. While being at Be Quick she played against professional boys teams FC Groningen, SC Heerenveen, Roda JC, and SC Cambuur. Femke received an individual award for being the 2nd best player at a tournament while playing with the boys. Her personal highlights are playing with the national team, playing at foreign tournaments, and the games against big clubs like PSV and Feyenoord. Femke will be a professional on and off the pitch and will always give her 100%, with her personality she gets along with everyone. Her strengths on the soccer field are her dribbling, speed, and 1v1.

Femke finished high school in 2021 with her stronger courses being English, Dutch, and Biology. The study direction(s) she aims to pursue are English, American History, Law, Science, or Human Rights. After college, she would like to find a challenging job either in the Netherlands or in the United States but she prefers to take her soccer career to the next level.
