Daniëlle Goedhart

Daniëlle is predominantly a forward but she also has experience playing in the midfield. She is a technical player with great tactical awareness. Before joining a women's team, Daniëlle played in the highest amateur boys division for Achilles '29 U14 and U15. She was a member of the KNVB district teams and has participated in U16 youth national team trainingcamps. In 2019, Daniëlle joined FC Twente, one of the biggest and most successful clubs in The Netherlands. This season is her second year on the development team. Next to playing for her club, she does individual training sessions with Martijn Meerdink, a former member of the Dutch national team. Daniëlle is very driven and eager to learn. She wants to get better every day and is willing to work hard to achieve her goals and become the best. She also looks forward to developing herself off the field. She always gives 100% and is a great team player. Daniëlle is easy to get along with because of her great sense of humor.

Currently, Daniëlle is completing her senior year of high school in the Netherlands. She will finish high school in the spring of 2021 and would like to enroll Fall 2021. She's willing to take advantage of the NCAA grace period to start her college career in Fall 2022 (January 2022 is an option as well). She would like to pursue a sports-related degree like exercise science.
