Arie Boersma

Arie's playing career started when he was 6 years old. Soon his talent got recognized as he got recruited for FC Utrecht, a Dutch pro club performing at the highest level in The Netherlands. After two years at FC Utrecht he moved down to Jonathan, after 1 season his talent was recognized by another professional club and he moved to Vitesse. Also a Dutch club at the highest level in The Netherlands. 

After a season at Vitesse he went to Hercules, the club he still plays at. While only being 18 years old he is a starting player for the U21 squad and he practices with the 1st team of the club. 

In the US he wants to be an impact player. Arie is a very good passer and with his size and composure, he has the ability to have a perfect overview of the field. His first thought is always forward, but he recognizes the moments he needs to keep possession for a while. He is dangerous in and around the box with his powerful and accurate left foot. With his size he is dominant in the air, but he is also capable of passing opponents with his technique. 

Arie will graduate next Summer from High School. After high school, he aims to pursue a degree in psychology. 

Arie is modest and calm and will be in the background until he is comfortable with the people around him. He is always in for a chat and is a good conversation partner.
